02 · The art of the Japanese sword
Iaido
The Iaido section of Círculo do Silêncio grew from the teaching of Georges Stobbaerts. Practice uses an iaito, a non-sharpened Japanese sword.
It is a non-combative, low-impact physical and mental discipline that develops breathing, coordination, persistence and concentration. More than sport, it is a cultural practice.
